Lifepoint Church is a fast growing church on the northside of Columbus, OH. The church was launched in 2004 when God brought three founding pastors, Dean Fulks, Shane Tucker, and Troy Palermo to Columbus, OH, with a vision to plant a multiplying church with a mission to Draw life from God, and point others to Him. Lifepoint has since grown to over 4,500 in average attendance across six campuses in Lewis Center, Delaware, Westerville, Plain City, Worthington, and Marion. Lifepoint also has a huge focus on their small group culture with over 3,000 people connected weekly in homes called Lifegroups. The church is a part of the SBC denomination and has an incredible heart to see families thriving and growing in their love for God and one another. 

The church is seeking the right candidate to take over as the new Associate Kids Director to come on staff in the kids department at the Lewis Center Campus, which is the original campus. Currently the Lewis Center Campus is seeing on average over 400 kids attend LPK (Lifepoint Kids) during Sunday morning services, and that number continues to grow at a rapid rate. The church is looking to hire someone to provide weekly administration, coordination, and support for LPK, its volunteers, and assist in the management of its environments on Sunday mornings.

• Administer the weekly volunteer schedule for Lifepoint Kids at the Lewis Center Campus.
• Assist in communication for Lifepoint Kids (staff, volunteers, and families).
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding processes for Lifepoint Kids volunteers.
• Support the Lifepoint Kids resource teams.
• Assist in the management of Lifepoint Kids environments on Sunday morning.
• Assist in the identification, recruitment and equipping of Lifepoint Kids volunteers.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of annual calendar and action plans agreed to by the cross-campus team (scheduling dates, leading classes, leading at camp).
• Commitment to regular communication & meetings with the Lifepoint Kids Director.
• Other duties as assigned by the Lifepoint Kids Director, Teaching Pastor, Executive Pastor, or Lead Pastor.

• Excellent spiritual and organizational leadership skills.

• Education
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relative field is preferred, though not required.
• Experience
  • No former full time experience required, though must have previous experience serving in kids ministry.
