Kirkmont Church is a growing, multi-generational congregation with about 450-500 in attendance on a weekly basis. They are part of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC). Kirkmont is located in Beavercreek, a suburb of Dayton, Ohio. Kirkmont is focused on the Great Commission, where their mission is to Glorify God by loving everyone while worshiping Him alone. Over the last decade, Kirkmont has been led by Pastor Dan Borgelt, the elders, a healthy staff, and a unified congregation. They are currently building a new children’s ministry wing and multipurpose room for the growing congregation. Kirkmont has two identical services at 9:00 AM & 10:30 AM. The church averages more than 475 in attendance between worship and kids ministry on Sunday morning.
The church is seeking a Director of Student Ministries to join the team. This candidate will excel in large group teaching, student relatability, and communication. They are looking for an outgoing candidate who is not afraid to meet the students where they are! Kirkmont Church is primed and ready for a new season of next-level ministry as they finalize a building project that supports the Next Gen ministries of the church.
The current Youth Ministry is divided into Jr. (6-8) and Sr. High (9-12) and meets weekly on Sunday and Wednesday nights. They average around 35 kids in attendance total for the two age groups, with about 50-60 youth total currently in the church. The new Director of Student Ministries role will manage a part-time youth ministry assistant and has the potential of hiring and managing additional youth ministry staff/interns as the ministry grows.
