Great Oaks Community Church is a growing non-denominational church located in Germantown Hills, Illinois, about two hours north of St. Louis, two hours south of Chicago, and one hour from the Quad Cities. The church is led by Lead Pastor Chase Hill, who has helped guide Great Oaks into a new season of health, clarity, and momentum. The church currently sees around 700 people in weekly attendance across two Sunday morning services that feature a modern and engaging style of worship. At the heart of Great Oaks is its mission of “connecting everyone with Jesus, community, and purpose.” This focus shapes every ministry of the church and drives their desire to model unity in the essentials, grace in non-essentials, and an openness to grow in all things.
Germantown Hills is a tight-knit, family-oriented community with a strong small-town culture. Great Oaks mirrors this same sense of belonging and care, creating a welcoming environment for both long-time residents and new families who are connecting to the church for the first time. The church has a deep heart for reaching young families and the next generation, helping them experience genuine transformation through connection, community, and worship. Excellence in ministry, authenticity in relationships, and a passion for serving their local community define the culture and direction of Great Oaks today.
