About this position

CedarCreek Church is a multisite, non-denominational church located in and around the Toledo, OH area. The church has 6 different locations and currently sees around 6,500 in attendance between all campuses on a typical weekend. The Perrysburg (Broadcast) Campus is led by Campus Pastor Luke Shortridge, who has been the campus pastor at the Perrysburg Campus for two years, and on staff for over 20 years. The campus currently has three services offered on Saturdays at 5:00p, and Sundays at 9:00a and 11:00a. All campuses are centralized with services that are identical and offer a modern style of worship. 

 

The church is seeking the right candidate to take over as the new Associate Director of Arts (Worship & Production) to come alongside the Director of Arts at the Perrysburg Campus, with the hope this position would take over their own campus soon. The right candidate will have a deep personal life in Christ and the character and capacity that align with the church’s overall mission and vision. Below are the qualifications and responsibilities Froot Group and the church have identified for this role:

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Worship Leadership:

  • Regularly assist in leading worship services, rehearsals, and run-throughs, working alongside the Director of Arts to learn best practices.
  • Assist in ensuring that all necessary technical and creative elements are prepared for weekend services.
  • Occasionally lead at other campuses as needed.

 

Supporting Volunteer Development:

  • Assist the Director of Arts in recruiting, training, and scheduling volunteers for production and music DreamTeams for weekend services and special events.
  • Encourage community and spiritual growth among DreamTeam members, providing support and mentorship where needed.

 

Collaborative Programming:

  • Participate in weekly staff and creative meetings alongside the Director of Arts, contributing ideas to enhance weekend programming.
  • Help communicate the vision and creative direction of the weekend programming to the campus team, executing tasks under the guidance of the Director of Arts.

 

Assisting with Stage Design & Communication:

  • Collaborate with the Central Support team to execute stage design and presentation elements as outlined by the Director of Arts.
  • Relay campus-specific needs and feedback to the Director of Arts and Central Support effectively.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Lifestyle aligned with biblical leadership standards (1 Tim. 3:1-13; 2 Tim. 2; Titus 1:5-9).
  • Familiarity with key software such as ProPresenter, Planning Center, and Ableton.
  • Basic understanding of audio, visual, and lighting technologies.
  • Passion for church music ministry and a desire to engage with the lost.
  • Alignment with CedarCreek Church beliefs and values.
  • Strong vocal ability and proficiency in leading worship from an instrument, preferably guitar.
  • Energetic and able to engage people in worship through music, prayer, and scripture.
  • Team player and willingness to learn and grow under the leadership of the Director of Arts.
  • Education
    • Some college coursework in a relevant field is preferred, not required.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience leading worship and volunteer teams is preferred.
