Their respect and trust will enable them to discuss and resolve their differences quickly. There are monthly scheduled check-ins to see how the candidate is doing and to talk about and plan for ministry, but the candidate is free to connect with the Lead Pastor at any time as things come up between the scheduled meetings.
Bethany Church (Bethany) is a multi-generational church associated with the Venture Church Network (formerly the Conservative Baptist Association). They exist to glorify God and see people transformed into passionate disciples of Jesus. The church is elder-led and pastored by Ben Overby. Pastor Ben accepted the call to serve as Lead Pastor in 2023. Bethany worships at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings. The church averages more than 320 in attendance between worship and kids ministry on Sunday morning.

The church is seeking the right candidate to lead as the new Worship Pastor. The right candidate will have a deep personal life in Christ and the character and capacity that align with the church’s overall mission and vision.
