Philosophy of Worship
What is your philosophy of worship?

Worship is so much more than music. Worship should be something that every believer does in all aspects of their life. In regards to music in a church service/even, the worship helps create an atmosphere of of tuning hearts to praising God for what He has done and will do-while at the same time get believers hearts open and ready to hear from God! It is secondary to God’s Word-but at the same time it should reinforce the message that is being given as well. Music has this ability to reach into the deepest parts of a person and it can resonate within their life–and so Worship has to point believers to God and not to people or things.

Ideal Relationship with Lead Pastor
How would you describe the ideal relationship between senior/lead pastor and worship leader?

The ideal relationship between a Senior/Lead Pastor and Worship Leader, in my opinion, is based around communication and being open-minded. Communication is key-because there needs to be cohesion to any worship service and if the senior pastor is going in one direction with the message but the worship leader is out of touch with that direction/vision it can cause the music to take away from the most important part of the service-the preaching of Gods Word.
