Philosophy of Worship
What is your philosophy of worship?

On a large scale worship is anything a believer does in using their abilities and endowed attributes to bring glory to God. For corporate worship in the church, worship is everything that is done in the fellowship, singing, reading and teaching of scripture in the gathering. I love the unique things God does when the body of believers gathers together on a Sunday to worship. It is for this reason that I take planning so seriously. My goal is to sing through the Gospel each and every Sunday that we can. Songs of praise, repentance, assurance, thanksgiving, and future hope are all essential parts of a healthy musical diet for the church.

Ideal Relationship with Lead Pastor
How would you describe the ideal relationship between senior/lead pastor and worship leader?

United but not necessarily always in perfect agreement. Healthily balanced between trust and accountability. The lead pastor is wise to count on and trust his worship pastor even when they disagree and consider the disagreement/concern. The worship pastor needs to trust in his pastor to know what direction is best and be willing to submit to the lead pastor’s decision.
